Giimme works without an account, and then everything stays on your phone. If you create an account, we keep a copy of your data to sync it and for the social features. We don't sell your data or show ads. Unless you turn it off, the app sends usage data to help us improve it.
[Contact pending]
Profiles are public to the app's users: username, name, bio, photo and follower count. They also see what you choose to share: the routines you mark "Show on my profile" and the workouts you share in the feed (name, date, duration and number of sets, never the weights). When you start following someone, your followers see it in their feed. Only you see your followers and following lists.
The legal basis is providing the service you ask for when you create the account; for safety and moderation, our legitimate interest in keeping the app safe; and, for usage data, our legitimate interest in improving the app, which you can object to at any time by turning it off.
We use these providers, which process the data on our behalf. Their servers are in the United States:
As long as you have the account. You can delete it in the app under Settings → Account → Delete account. That immediately removes your profile, your synced data, your photos and your user. The data on your phone stays there until you uninstall the app. Reports other people made about you are deleted with your account.
You can ask to access, correct, export, object to the use of, or delete your data. You can change your profile in the app and export your workouts from Settings. For anything else, write to the contact above. You can also complain to the data protection authority of your country.
The app is not meant for children under 16. If you think a child has given us their data, write to us and we will delete it.
If we change this policy, we will update the date above and, if the change is important, tell you in the app.
